I’m Scott Temaat. I started sailing with what I thought would be a one-and-done, bucket list tip: Alaska aboard the Norwegian Sun (2016). I loved it so much I’ve been back twice … and on several more cruises to boot, with two more still on the books for 2026 and 2027.
The first time I stood on the rail leaving Seward, Alaska, I remember thinking: this is how travel should feel — easy, beautiful, and completely unhurried. What I didn’t realize then was how many travelers never get to feel that way… because planning a cruise can feel harder than taking one.

From Passenger to Planner
I didn’t start out in travel. I started as an NCL super-fan… the person friends called when they wanted to know which deck had the quiet hot tubs or which side of the ship faced Glacier Bay.
After my third Norwegian sailing, those conversations turned into full-blown planning sessions. Before long, I was spending more time helping others design their trips than planning my own.
That’s when I realized: what came naturally to me could save other people hours of stress and hundreds of dollars in mistakes. So I made it official—earned my NCL Master’s Certification, climbed to Platinum status in the Latitudes program, and founded Cruise Made EASY to focus on one cruise line I truly know inside and out.

I don’t juggle every cruise line. I specialize in Norwegian because I’ve sailed it, studied it, and still get excited every time I board. My role is part translator, part travel mentor: I turn the confusing into clear, the stressful into simple.
