Cruise Made Easy – Client Terms & Conditions

This document constitutes a legal agreement governing the use of services provided by Sky+Sea LLC d/b/a Cruise Made Easy (“Cruise Made Easy,” “us,” “our,” “we”) and our website and booking services.

By using our services and/or booking travel through Cruise Made Easy, you (“Customer,” “Passenger,” or “you/your”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”).


1. Names of Parties to the Agreement

This Agreement is entered into between Sky+Sea LLC d/b/a Cruise Made Easy, a Kansas limited liability company, and the undersigned Customer.


2. Scope of Services

Cruise Made Easy acts solely as a travel advisor and booking agent for disclosed third-party suppliers (e.g., cruise lines, airlines, hotels, tour operators).

  • We plan, arrange, and book travel services on your behalf.
  • We do not own, operate, or control the suppliers providing these services.
  • Each supplier has its own Terms & Conditions, which you must also review and accept.

3. Fees & Payments

  • Cruise Made Easy charges non-refundable planning and/or service fees, billed as Sky+Sea LLC.
  • Fees cover time, expertise, and administrative services and are separate from supplier charges.
  • Supplier charges for your trip will appear directly on your card statement under the supplier’s name.
  • All charges require your approval prior to processing.

4. Credit Card Authorization & Chargebacks

  • You authorize Cruise Made Easy to store your credit card securely through TravelJoy’s PCI-compliant system for the duration of your booking.
  • No charges will be initiated without your specific, documented approval for each payment.
  • Aside from planning fees, supplier charges will appear directly under the supplier’s name.
  • You agree not to dispute charges (“chargebacks”) unless they result from proven fraud.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Changes to confirmed bookings may incur administrative fees (minimum $25 per person) plus supplier-imposed fees or penalties.
  • Refund eligibility is subject to each supplier’s policies, which may result in partial or no refunds.
  • Cruise Made Easy is not responsible for supplier refusal to honor change or cancellation requests.

6. Supplier Responsibility & Limitations of Liability

  • Travel services are provided solely by third-party suppliers.
  • Cruise Made Easy is not liable for acts, errors, omissions, injuries, losses, accidents, delays, or irregularities caused by suppliers or events beyond our control.
  • Our liability is limited to the commissions and fees actually received for your booking.

7. Booking Confirmation & Accuracy

  • You must provide accurate, complete information including full legal names matching travel documents.
  • Cruise Made Easy is not responsible for issues arising from inaccurate information you provide.
  • You will receive supplier-issued confirmation numbers, which serve as your proof of booking.

8. Itinerary Prices, Taxes & Currency Fluctuations

  • Prices are quoted in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
  • Airlines, hotels, and suppliers may add fees, surcharges, or taxes beyond our control.
  • Currency exchange rates fluctuate; final pricing may vary slightly at the time of payment.

9. International Travel Responsibility

  • You are responsible for obtaining all required documents (e.g., passports, visas, health certifications).
  • Cruise Made Easy is not responsible for denied boarding or entry due to missing or incorrect documentation.

10. Travel with Minors

  • Additional documentation may be required when traveling with minors (e.g., parental consent letters).
  • It is your responsibility to meet all requirements for minor travelers.

11. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

  • Travel inherently involves risks (including, but not limited to, illness, injury, delays, weather disruptions).
  • By booking through Cruise Made Easy, you voluntarily assume these risks and release Cruise Made Easy from liability for damages arising from participation in travel activities.

12. Travel Insurance

  • We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip investment and provide coverage for unexpected events.
  • Unless explicitly stated, insurance is not included in your package.
  • Without insurance, you may lose up to the full cost of your travel due to cancellation or interruption.

13. Communication

  • Successful travel planning requires timely responses and cooperation.
  • You agree to promptly review and confirm travel arrangements and to communicate with Cruise Made Easy as needed throughout the booking process.

14. Confidentiality & Personal Information

  • Cruise Made Easy will safeguard your personal information and use it solely for booking and managing your travel arrangements.
  • Our data handling aligns with TravelJoy’s Privacy Policy and industry security standards.
  • You agree not to disclose or reuse proprietary information, planning materials, or trade secrets provided by Cruise Made Easy.

15. Indemnification & Maximum Damages

  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cruise Made Easy from any claims arising from third parties due to your actions during travel.
  • Any damages claimed against Cruise Made Easy shall be limited to the total amount of commissions and fees received for your booking.

16. Force Majeure

  • Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, strikes, terrorism, civil unrest, or supplier insolvency.

17. Arbitration, Venue & Jurisdiction

  • Any disputes shall first be submitted to binding arbitration in Sedgwick County, Kansas under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
  • If arbitration does not resolve the matter, disputes shall be handled exclusively by the courts of Sedgwick County, Kansas, under Kansas law.

18. Transfer & Severability

  • This Agreement cannot be transferred to another party without written consent from Cruise Made Easy.
  • If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable.

19. Reservation of Rights & Changes to Terms

  • Cruise Made Easy reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and apply to future bookings.

20. Notices & Digital Acceptance

  • Official notices may be sent via email or postal mail to the addresses on file.
  • Checking the acceptance box or providing an electronic signature in TravelJoy constitutes full legal acceptance of these Terms, equivalent to a handwritten signature.

21. Entire Agreement

  • This Agreement, along with supplier-specific terms, constitutes the entire understanding between you and Cruise Made Easy and supersedes prior agreements.
